This week has been a flurry of work, rest, and house-stuff.

We had Dad and Leonard go with us on Sunday to inspect the condo for anything bad.

The difference between a condo and townhouse? I think that more units are attached when they are condos, townhouses are more likely to be 2 or 3 units together.

Monday, we met with our Mortage guy again (we met in April before we saw any houses.)

Tonight, we met with the realtor again to make an offer.

Tomorrow, Megan wants me to come out with her and get some decorations for her summer dorm room (she is getting two ajoining rooms because she’ll be the student dean) and probably look at some makeup; she got her second shipment in for Mary Kay products yesterday; she timed it right so she purchased her initial order and then double that again before the end of the month, so it looks like she came in for the month much better. From what she’s done so far, I think she’ll be great at this.

Thursday, I must work on Leah’s cake (Panda bear [pdf]). That way, if I screw up badly the first time, I can do it again on Friday. Plus, it would be nice if it could be refridgerated overnight before frosting. I don’t think I’m gonna do a star tip pattern all over it, because I just don’t think I’m that talented. we’ll see how bad it looks just smooth. Its been at least 10 years since I’ve done any cake decorating, and I’ve never done a standing cake like this!

Friday, more cake stuff, depending on how Thursday went.

Somewhere in there, I need to do some cleaning. The house is a disaster area, and I can’t even think about packing until the junk is picked up. Luckily, I’ve gotten a lot of work done yesterday and today, so that is a bright spot in my busy to-do lists! and we went grocery shopping last night, so that’s one less thing to worry about. Good stuff, all in all.
