portland area sites
An interesting post about Portland’s newspaper website: Attention Portland-Area Weblog Writers
There is a general consensus amongst local weblog writers that OregonLive is one of the worst examples of a newspaper-related website.
Yes, I’d agree. I have a really hard time finding anything on their site. Even the paper on this side of the river, The Columbian, which is admittedly smaller, has a more usable website.

So while I was checking out The Columbian, I happened upon the Columblog, which is their blog of local things. That’s kinda cool! Maybe I’ll email him and give him some names of other blogs in Clark Country Hee hee. Since mine are the only ones I know of, I could still keep him entertained for a while with my list.

I deffinetly agree that the Oregon Live Website si fairly usless and confusing. I think it is really to bad since there is not another site with more useful Portland stuff. I have tried to find information about local area events and have never been able to find a reliable source of information.
