good news
Follow up to yesterday: The secretary for work DID come in today, very apologetic and explained how many problems she’d been having with babysitters. I’m not sure why she didn’t call, but she’s still working, so that takes a huge weight off my shoulders. I don’t feel nearly as bad as I did yesterday. yay!

That’s definitely weird that she didn’t call yesterday, but I’m glad she’s still working so that’s not something you’ve got on your mind.

I’m glad to hear this worked out. A little bit less stress is still less stress. ;)

We have someone out on maternity leave and have gone through several temps in the process. I was really surprised when one didn’t call, didn’t show up, nothing. Why would you do that? I understand being busy or under stress for some reason, but you should still call. Hmmm...
Anyways - I’m glad it worked out!
