morning thoughts
I’ve been quiet. Alternating between the bed and the couch hasn’t left me as much time on my computer, but I’m working on some stuff for the plugin directory, and that kept me occupied last night.
The most exciting part of my weekend was on Friday, when Megan called to tell me about the birth she got to participate in. Because she had turned in all of her assignments early for her nursing class, she got to pick which area she wanted to help out in for her clinical on friday. She’s been in nursing home situations for most of the clinicals until this point. But she jumped at the chance to get to pick, and asked to do something with the OB department. They actually had a c-section going on that morning, and so if it was okay with the family, she could stand in and help!! She was so excited, and they actually let her help with activites during the c-section. I’m so happy that she’s found such a great fit for what she wants to do with her life. And she knows that working around babies is the happiest thing to her already. 
I’ve been doing research early this morning on digestion and IBS. Its a common thing to have IBS if you have CFIDS apparently, and I have been dealing with the pain relating to that this weekend. Ick.

I’ve been watching lots of birth shows this weekend like Birth Day and Baby Story. I end up crying when the baby is born because it’s so beautiful. Being involved in any capacity with that process has to be incredible.

My daughter is having a baby in June and I just know Im going to be cowering in the corner with my hands over my ears saying "Is it over yet?" LOL
