bloggin lovefest
Robyn did the great thing by suggesting today should be a Bloggin' Lovefest. She’s right, things have all be a bit stressed for some of the bloggers in my space of the web. So I think this is a delightful idea. I couldn’t just stop at one or two, though. There are so many people who have become not just friends, but family to me. I am so lucky that with my health right now, I’m still able to keep friendships going, and with such wonderful people.
In no specific order....
- Christine. Ch/K power activate!!!! Every project we’ve worked on together in the last year has made me so happy. And while we worked on the projects, our friendship grew into a beautiful thing. Even though we are opposites in some ways, our love and friendship have grown!
- Robyn. She said not to mention her, but how could I not? This last year has been such an experience for me with my health, and I’ve been so lucky to have her there right along with me. I feel so comfortable in our friendship because of our similarities - healthwise, our web-designer-ness, and we both have wonderful husbands who are so supportive. People may call her a "princess" or give her grief about being so popular, but there’s a reason she is so loved. Its simple - she gives freely of her love to so many people.
- Zalary. my sweet Zalary love has been around for me for long enough to know me, the real me, not just the person I am now. Her heart is so open, and she has such beautiful hopes and feelings. Even when we don’t talk for weeks, we end up doing the same thing at the same time without realizing it, so I think we have an unseen connection. She has not only blessed me by being a beautiful friend, she also introduced me to some of my other sweet friends through silveringrid a few years ago. I can’t help but buy neato things with her in mind, and even though they sit in a pile on my craft desk, she knows I love her
- Kymberlie. My fishy-friend. She is always here for me with a smile and a hug. I truly can’t imagine her not being a part of my daily thoughts. What started with some fishy graphics and a few comments on each others blogs has grown into a beautiful friendship. Besides, who couldn’t love someone whose name starts with a K.
- GeekGrrl. M is a new friend, but we’ve already found connections is so many ways. She is one of those people that I feel I could tell all of my secrets to, and she’d be happy to listen for hours. She’s inspired me and made me smile over and over. I have loved being part of her life in this special time while she’s so happy with her wonderful A.
- Lisa. I do love geeky friends. I can’t help it Lisa is another new friend, and she’s always so cheerful and there with happy thoughts for me (and everyone else around her) AND sweet things in the mail. I can tell we are going to have a great deal of fun together as friends for a long time. Her lovely obsession with taking pictures of sunsets and sunrises makes me very happy.
- Brenna and Girlie. My MT-girls. Together we are unstoppable, and our friendship has gotten strong over pieces of code and our daily need to help others. Its great to find friends who enjoy giving so much of themselves. I gave B so much grief about needing a journal and now she has one. My day isn’t complete until I’ve gotten to "see" both of them!
Like I said, there are so many more people who make my life better, every day, and with so many ways. I wish I could write a giant love poem for each of you. Thank you for being in my life I love you!!!!
