feed cold starve fever?
I looked this up because I told E he needed to eat because of his cold: Feed a Cold, Starve a Fever?
Going hungry or overly full will not speed the rate at which you get rid of a cold or reduce a high temperature.
Okay, so I guess he doesn’t have to eat. LOL!

I think you just generally feel better when you eat during a cold (think chicken noodle soup) and when you have a fever, well, the thought of chicken noodle soup makes you want to run to the bathroom.

Feed a cold, Starve a fever does work. There was a medica study performed and registered at: Clinical and Diagnostic Laboratory Immunology, January 2002, p. 182-183, Vol. 9, No. 1 DOI: 10.1128/CDLI.9.1.182-183.2002
