tweaking and playing
After getting to sleep in just a bit, I’ve been playing with MT since then. I have done a few things with the new options 
I set up descriptions for my categories which appear on the category pages. I made the category pages have ping info if pings are allowed to the category (right now, its just bloggyness that has a ping link on it). I set up trackback links for the bottoms of my posts, which popup a box with the trackbacks on them. (and I made them have nice sayings depending on the number of pings just like my comments do ) I’m gonna add recent pings to my recent section of my sidebar. And THEN, I must start playing with the new stuff on theredkitchen because I know I have a bunch of great ideas on how to make it better with these new features. ROCK!
Its kinda hard to give examples of how this stuff works without my friends blogs being updated, so I’m excited to see them get all upgraded!
Edited to add: Anybody who is testing out TrackBack is welcome to ping this post with an entry to see how it works. Easy steps: Get your new bookmarklet, use it on my index page, pick "tweaking and playing" from the trackback box, and then when you post, it will ping my index page and show that there is 1 ping or however many I have then. And that just connnected our conversation!
