I almost cried when I read the first part of this story yesterday, just because a 5th grade teacher was shot, and there was probably a whole classroom of kids that were going to be devestated. She had been a teacher for 22 years and they made it sound like she loved it. Now that I read this: Shooting victim told principal she feared her husband, it makes me feel even worse.

Why do people feel they need to stay with people who make them afraid for over TWO years? That’s devestating.
