girls night, french toast, and naps

Our girls night last night turned out really nice. Lisa and me made a really yummy peach cake before Megan got there, then we made spaghetti and had salad with it for dinner. Then we kicked E upstairs, and watched Josie and the Pussycats and ate cake. Lisa and me played a bit with some of the drink stash we had, but no more than little sips, and it was fun smile We started the Big Hit but I was falling asleep, and so I headed upstairs to go to sleep in my own bed instead of the couches so that the girls had enough room to stretch out.

Note to self - email WWC and find out what we need to do to get Meg on the network next monday when we drive up there.

Megan decided that she needed to go to the beach today with the youth group and Sarah and Chelsea, so she got up early. Actually I got up early and woke her up and then she showered while I got french toast ready smile My french toast is really good, if I do say so myself. We had that and some cantelope and orange juice before Meg left smile Yum. Then we took Lisa home so she could have some nice time by herself while mom and dad were out.

Back home, I took a nice nap. I know I shouldn’t because it makes me less likely to sleep tonight, but I was sleepy and it felt so nice smile Ate lunch and watched the Thomas Crowne Affair, which I got on the bargain racks at the video store for 2.95!! I bought 5 movies (4 videos, 1 DVD) from the bargain racks yesterday - Charlie’s Angels DVD, Antitrust, Deep Impact, and one other that I can’t remember right now. Mom got Newsies and Mrs. Winterborne, both of which I love too. I coulda bought 10 more if I had a bit more time - there were so many good deals - $5 movies really are a great way to start or add to a collection.

Now I’m trying to decide what to do with my time. Cut up a few graphics sets? Work on some style sheets? Clean the closet so I can measure it for my new plot? Write some email to a very sweet girl who I owe a note to? Watch TV? I have ideas, but I’m a bit lathargic. I could just play computer games for a while - that tends to win out when I’m so lethargic ;) All of the above are great projects I’d like to work on though.... we’ll see! smilef
