It's my 5th Blogiversary!
Guess what? I’ve been blogging for 5 years now! I started out on April 11, 2000. Who knew it would change my life in so many ways?
- Friends - I have met some of my very dearest friends through my blog. I found people who like similar things, some people who our only connection *is* blogging, and quite a few people who I only know online... but these are people who I care about and look forward to 'seeing' on a regular basis.
- Strength - During these 5 years, my health, family, and work situations have fluctuated wildly. By having this outlet, it gave me strength to face all of those big issues.
- Career - do I even have to explain this one? My fabulous job only came about because of my blog. If I hadn’t started blogging, I wouldn’t have had to use Movable Type, which led to my job (which I just celebrated a year at last week)!!
- Knowledge - being a blogger has let me expand my knowledge in such a variety of ways - from coding and design to general information that being link-happy gives me!
There’s always more. As I grow in so many ways, I feel like I have a terrific way to watch that growth - how did I ever feel like I accomplished things without writing it down? Despite the fact that I don’t have the time to blog as much these days, it’s still a big part of my life.
Wow, I guess I’m an old-time blogger officially now!
Let’s see, last year to celebrate, I made a pretty collage. You might still enjoy that!
I love April. It’s a wonderful month, and events like this make it even better. Thanks for being a part of that, everyone who visits and comments!

Hi Kristine,
You probably don’t remember me, but I used to have a weblog at dreamingreality.com and a graphics web site called Sharp Studio way back in the day. I’m no longer involved with either of those, but still very much online. I used to be a faithful reader of your journal and still manage to drop in at least weekly to catch up, so I just wanted to wish you a happy blogging anniversary!!

Strange, it wouldn’t let me comment... for questionable content (LoL).
Anyway, Happy Blogiversary Kristine! We love ya!

Happy Blogging Aniversary, here’s to 5 more years! It’s always amazing to me to see the directions blogging can take people in and you’re definetely a great example of that.

I don’t know you, and I know you don’t know me, but I just wants to say hi!
Hi!
Ok, I wants to say more. Happy Blogiversary, Kristine!
I been to your blog before a long time ago, but not when I was a baby, because they didn’t have the internet back then, I think.
Anyways, I found your blog again while I was using the Wayback Machine, that took me way back when Blogshares first started, and then I saw your link on the side panel and clicked it, and guess what happened, it took me to your blog the way it was back in 2003 June 5, where at the top of your blog was just your nickname "kadyellebee " which was over a tan line, and on the right sidepanel I saw something that said "pick a color", "Latest Updates", "STATS", and a bunch of other stuff.
I hope you had a great blogiversary, Kristine, and that you are sleep well tonight, and the bed bugs don’t bite, because it hurts as I know.

Wow, I have to go and look now - if you just passed 1 year, I’ll be passing it soon! BlahBlahBlog.com will be 5 years old in September. How crazy is that?
Here’s to many more years of blogging. And maybe if I can get my blog moved back to MT, I can someday get a cool job at SA too! (I’m working on it, with some help from Jay.)

(Wait. I’m working on the migration. Not the job. If you have any job scoop though, that would be a good thing...)
