sheets
I’m so sad. My very favorite ever sheets didn’t make it through the washer/dryer this last time. A threadbare section turned into a little tear, and the little tear is now two big holes that my feet keep getting caught in while I sleep, which is ripping them more.
I love these sheets because they match my comforter set, and the background is a creamy color with lavendar accents that look like clouds during a sunset. And they were nice and soft.
But I suppose that 3 1/2 years of non-stop use might make them wear out. Yes, sillies, 3 1/2 years does include regular washing, we just wash them and put them straight back on.
So now I’m torn between wanting to get the same sheets even though they are kinda expensive, or getting something else and not being as happy. Hmmmmm.... I’m gonna have to put the green ones on now for the moment, and they don’t match at ALL!!

I feel the same way about my sheets usually. We only own two sets of sheets and only ever use one. Getting more sheets can never hurt, that’s for sure!
The price isn’t too bad for 3.5 years of nonstop use. I would get what you’d be happiest with. We spend a large portion of our lives in bed, so it’s best for us to be comfortable there.

I agree, that’s great value for that much nonstop use.
But maybe its time for a bit of change?

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I am really really into my bedding. I finally invested 90 bucks for my Down Comforter, it was normally 200 but was on sale But...you could always just cut off the torn parts, hem the sides, and make it a throw blanket...or something...

I got a full set of 600 threadcount sheets for $120 at BB&B last week. Not bad at all for something I spend 1/3rd of my life in. They have packaged sets, look for those--much cheaper than buying the pieces individually.

I think you should replace them. Maybe as an early Christmas present to yourself?
