Why your site needs a favicon
Excellent explanation for why favicons are needed and even has a screenshot to illustrate it perfectly - it looks like a screenshot of my browser how it is right now ! I was thinking about opening up photoshop and making one for VirtualVenus this afternoon because I had so many windows open and it was hard to tell which one was the Wiki while I was going back and forth answering questions on the MT forums—I think this article must be a sign that I should be doing that
Can you see my favicons? The mt-plugins site has a little plug on it and the letters MT, and love-productions (with kadyellebee and all the other sites it hosts) has a little rounded square with a heart and a "K" for Kristine. I love the MT icon, its a little gear from their logo.
Since I’m using Mozilla Firebird, it might help to mention that I’m using the Tabbrowser Extension, and that makes the favicons show up on the tabs. I’m not sure if they do it as nicely without that extension. I Firebird!

Sorry can’t see your fav icon and I using IE6. Hang on just got it in NS7.1 how ironic is that! Nice but it’s not you - though it does suit the site very well! Check mine out www.simoncox.com - it’s me!

Your favicons are always the cutest. I just love this about Firebird, my toolbar is full of favicons. Kymberlie: I see yours every time, it’s one of my favorites.
