exercise today
You all will be very proud of me.
I went with Megan to the gym today for the first time. We’ve got a super-Bally’s Fitness about 5 minutes from my house, and she came and picked me up ... she was feeling tired, so wasn’t up for her normal big workout.
I did probably 20 minutes on the stationary bike. I didn’t have stats on it to know how I was doing, but I was able to stand after wards, so that’s a good sign Then Meg gave me a tour of how the other machines in the women-preferred room we were in.. only 3 or 4 people where in there while we were, so we had a huge room to ourselves practically.
I think that standing up in between activities (walking around the gym for M’s tour, standing waiting for a shower, etc.) was more pain to my ankles than the machines, although I’ll let ya know how my knees are doing in the morning. They feel sore now.
We went to Sweet Tomatoes and met Eric for dinner after wards. It was yummy. Good stuff!!!

Woohoo for exercise and Sweet Tomatoes! I hope you’re feeling good when you wake up. I find that exercise helps me sleep better, so I hope that’s the case for you as well.

If you’re not too sore maybe you could get a 2nd hand stationary bike at a garage sale or something for your home use. That is supposed to be real easy on the body. Congrats!
