a lovely Friday Five
lots of love in the Friday Five this week!
I do so like the topic of love.
- How many times have you truly been in love? Once. Some people say that’s too few, but I found the perfect love the first real time!
- What was/is so great about the person you love(d) the most? We match. The first thing I remember my friends saying after E and I had met was "Wow, we should have introduced you guys sooner, you are perfect for each other!"
- What qualities should a significant other have? Things in common, sense of humor, respect and love. Those things are a good base for a lot of other things.
- Have you ever broken someone’s heart? Nope, not that I know of!
- If there was one thing you could teach people about love, what would it be?
Love doesn’t always have to be extravagent presents all the time. Its the simple everyday things like holding hands while watching a movie or a kiss on the neck while on the computer concentrating.
When I was little, my mom had a cute little plaque in the bathroom that had a little picture of a boy and a girl on a teeter-totter. It said on it "Love is a series of Ups and Downs." That stuck with me, and even though there are downs peridocially, the teeter-totter of love always comes back up.
Comments
