monday mission
Time for tonight’s Monday Mission. I had a few questions that I just wasn’t sure that I had a specific answer. Suppose that means I should have not done the other questions and skipped this week, but ah well. 
- What habit do people have that drives you crazy but doesn’t seem to bother anyone else? I am a pretty tolerant person. But I don’t like people who have no respect for the people around them.
- Have you had any expensive car trouble recently?
Not lately. Of course it helps that we only have one car now!
- How do you feel about mothers who breastfeed their children in public? At what age do you think they should stop? I believe this is a natural thing, and don’t mind it in public as long as the mom is discrete about it... My mom always had a blanket to put over the baby of the moment (hey, there were 5 of us!). And the mother should stop breastfeeding when the time is right for her and the baby/child. I have siblings who nursed much longer than I personally would be comfortable breastfeeding my children, but that was apparently the right thing for my mom at the time. I grew up in a household where La Leche League was a big thing for my mom, as a leader, and phone counseling as well. I’ve been to more meetings than I can count. So I’d guess my views are a bit more developed than people my age w/o children!
- Do you recall the first item from your youth that became an "antique" and made you feel old and how you felt? Or if it hasn’t happened, yet, what item do you think it will be and how do you expect it to make you feel?
Lisa, my youngest sister, is 17, and in the last few years, I’ve mentioned things that I remember as a kid, and she’s laughed so hard at me because she can’t believe I ever wore or did some of the things I did. I gave her some of my old clothes, and when she looked through the pile that I was getting rid of, she was quite astonished to find shoulder pads in my dresses, and even some stretch pants with the little loops to stick your foot into.
Actually, just thinking about my age makes me freaked out about how old I am. - Do you like rainy days/nights? What type of weather makes you feel relaxed?
Yes, rain sounds so nice to me. Its a good thing I like it, because living in this area, its kinda expected all the time
Soft breezes and the smell of fresh cut grass is the most relaxing to me. - Have you ever found that you have become that which you once ridiculed? I’m sure I have, but I can’t think of a specific incident at the moment.
- Have you ever sent an e-mail to the wrong person? What was the most embarrassing experience you remember? Yes, I’m sure I have. But again, I can’t think of a specific incident.
