ABC Puts Faith in Ripa, Ripa in 'Faith'

Kelly Ripa has done soap operas, talk shows, TV movies, and guest appearances on "Ed," but this fall, ABC may be banking on the "All My Children" star to become a sitcom leading lady.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ripa will join the cast of the "Hope and Faith" playing Faith, a former soap opera star who moves in with her fraternal twin sister Hope (Faith Ford of "Murphy Brown"), a more conservative wife and mother.

Wow, she sure is a busy lady! This new show sounds like a really nice concept, so I’ll look forward to seeing if it gets picked up
