I’m just stunned to find out that something even bigger knocked our flood out of the headlines here. I thought that with this many years after the Challenger, that things were safer and this couldn’t happen. I was 9 or 10 when Challenger happened and it left a permanent mark on me. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the Columbia astronauts and everyone who is close to the situation.

Our hosting company has said that the internet might be slower today because so many people are waiting on news about this tragedy. Just so you know ...

I took a nap this morning, and I’m still sleepy, but we are gonna get ready and go over to my family’s house for lunch. I feel quiet and not so chatty, but hopefully that will change once I’m around my family.

I just took my braids out that I put in yesterday after my shower and I look like an 80s ad for crimped hair! I must go wash that out!!
