friends for another year
NBC, in Surprise, Re-Signs 'Friends' Cast
NBC’s six "Friends" aren’t breaking up yet. The network announced a surprise agreement to keep the top-rated comedy on the air for another season
Wow, that is a surprise. I stopped watching the year before last because the storylines just weren’t enticing me. So wow, they must really have something up their sleeve if they think they can keep it going for another year.
I do tend to disagree with this:
Although Aniston drew strong reviews last summer for her performance in "The Good Girl," none of the actors has established a solid career in the movies.
Are they forgetting about Matthew Perry in The Whole Nine Yards? That was not only a great movie, but high grossing as well. And Courtney Cox has done some big things too, including the whole Scream series. So I don’t know if I would say that Jennifer Aniston is the biggest star!!
Comments
perhaps they finally got around to reviewing their stock portfolios and decided that they had better stick around awhile and sink some of that hefty "per episode salary" away.

Wow, that is shocking. All of 'em kept talking about how sad filming the last ep was going to be, and all of their future plans. It just goes to show... Money talks. ;)

Oh, I can’t begin to say how excited I am over all this! Friends has been my absolute favourite television show for some years now, and I’ve been almost distraught over the thought of the show ending. I think it’s just as funny as ever, and I’m thrilled that there’s going to be one more year!

Yay! I’m so glad they’re coming back for another season. I wasn’t ready to say good-bye to them just yet.
