I think I got this from a TechTV newsletter - PC Pitstop will analyze your computer and tell you all about it, things you could do to improve its health, etc. Its pretty cool because you don’t have to download anything to make it work, and it gives you tons of details If you can’t remember how much RAM you have, or want to see which of your hard drives are speedier, this would be a fun things to test out.

The other similar program I’ve used probably gives more details, but it requires a download - Belarc Adviser - Free Personal PC Audit.
