Happy Birthday to the Friday Five!
- Would you say that you’re good at keeping in touch with people? No. Well, sometimes. But not super good. I never have been.
- Which communication method do you usually prefer/use: e-mail, telephone, snail mail, blog comments, or meeting in person? Why? email, most definitely. I’m not a very good telephone person, and so online communication is the best method for me. I’m awful at real correspondence. If you want to know how bad I am about sending mail? I have a present sitting on my desk for my zalary-love that’s been there for over a year now!
- Do you have an instant messenger program? How many? Why/why not? How often do you use it? I’m using Trillian because I like having multiple options. I use MSN or AIM as necessary. I tend to leave myself on away because I’m not always sitting here at my desk. And I really only talk to 3 or 4 people!
- Do most of your close friends live nearby or far away? Far away. Most of my best friends are online. And then my best friend from High School is in Japan. Two of my closest friends from college are far away. So my current close friends are all online, and live across the country!
- Are you an "out of sight, out of mind" person, or do you believe that "distance makes the heart grow fonder"? For close friends and family, I am always leaning towards the later. When E and I had that last year of school for him and had to have a long distance relationship, it really was hard, but he most definitely wasn’t out of my mind!
