smells
Trish talked about smells this morning, and when I read it, I immediatly thought of something I wanted to write about, but didn’t get a chance to do it until now.
The smell of freshly cut grass waifed (waifted? wafted?) up to my window this morning as the grass was being cut this morning, and it brings such nice memories of riding around in the trailer behind our riding lawn mower as a kid while my dad mowed the lawn. The smell was always so nice.
I love writing about the senses, but I don’t do it so much as I should. Definitely something I would like to develop more journal-type entries about

My favorite smell is when there’s rain coming... I can’t describe it, but it’s wonderful. Actually I think it’d be a quite amazing task to be able to put in words what it really feels.
