PSA on CFS released
The CFIDS Association of America has released the first public service announcement (PSA) on CFIDS for television, featuring U.S. Surgeon General Dr. David Satcher. The PSA emphasizes that CFS is a serious, complex disorder that can affect people of all races and walks of life. Dr. Satcher validates the illness, saying that "We may not know the cause of [CFIDS], but the pain and suffering are real."
Applause from me! Even if I end up not being diagnosed with CFS or Fibromyalgia, I’ve done enough research and have enough friends suffering from this that I’m ALL for making people aware of what the people who are suffering from this are feeling.
