I feel so loved. Like a big warm blanket of friends and family surrounds me I

I was away from my computer for too many consecutive hours, so I have a lot of people to thank and send some love back to, and I’m anxiously looking forward to doing that this evening.

My birthday was really good. I got to sleep in, got to work on my css article, got to read blogs all before worktime. I worked really hard, and then got to go and have fun with my family. My dad made an amazing dinner - steak on the grill, a huge salad bar, scalloped potatoes, corn on the cob, and superb garlic bread (we are known for our great bread, I should post how we do it on theredkitchen !) Oh, and german chocolate cake and Kodiak ice cream on the side (a vanilla ice cream with a fudge swirl - but its significant because Kodiaks are the mascots for CAA, mine and my sisters high school!!!)

Then we did presents, which was fun, and I’ll write more about this later. I’ve had this post open for a few hours, but I’m working too hard over here!!!
