Oliver Stone and Heath Ledger’s Alexander the Great to Rule Hollywood
The 22-year-old star has made a name for himself in period pieces such as "The Patriot" and "A Knight’s Tale," and is deemed the perfect age to play the role of the man who became king of Macedonia at age 20 and conquered most of the known world before dying at age 33 in 356 B.C.
Oh my goodness, I just love him (OOOoohhhh, Heath Ledger is the new Matt Damon!! :giggle:, just had to get that out!) so much, and will really look forward to hearing more about this as time gets closer to release 
It looks like there are mutliple people trying to make movies about Alexander the Great right now, including a 10-part miniseries from HBO, and Martin Scorsese’s doing one with Leo... which I also could be convinced to watch ;)
