Friday Five: 020102

It’s a medically-based friday five... Heather just rocks for giving such fun questions every week smile

  1. Have you ever had braces? Any other teeth trauma?
I have an overbite, but it wasn’t enough to get me braces. My worst teeth trauma was my wisedom teeth... I had conscious sendation, and they claimed that 99% of people remember nothing. I was the 1%, and it wasn’t fun.
  2. Ever broken any bones?
Nope. I’m break-free. I did wear a cast for 6 weeks to try and make my ankle heal into the right place... the bones are jaggedy inside. It didn’t work.
  3. Ever had stitches?
No stitches either, unless you count the ones from my wisdom teeth in my mouth.
  4. What are the stories behind some of your [physical] scars?
I have a triangle of where 3 scabs from my chicken pox fell off between my nose and my mouth. I have a whole lot of them in other places, too (I got the chicken pox at age 16... so they were pretty bad). I have a scar on my right pointer finger near the nail from when I sliced the end of it while cutting cheese at age 14ish. Not bad enough for stiches, though. I have a scar on the top of my big toe on my right foot where the door of the bank hit the top of it at age 4ish. My fingers on the right hand don’t have scars, but they bend backwards by them self because my dad accidently slammed the van door with my fingers sticking out the side at age 10. This is why its so easy to hold a pencil and type at the same time! I have a little scar on my right calf where I picked a spider bite at age 6. I think that’s most of them, besides the stretch marks, which are mostly new from the last 3-4 months.
  5. How do you plan to spend your weekend?
Resting. Relaxing. Not doing much of anything. I have a long weekend, since I won’t work monday. I’m feeling very unenergetic, and worn out, so I definately need the weekend. I should cook something at some point because I have a lot of milk - I could do mac and cheese smile Maybe we’ll go out and celebrate it being the end of the january-days. Besides that, I’m pretty weekend-idea-free!!!

One of my fears is to be in that 1% when I have my wisdom teeth pulled, too...
