My Shopping Trip :-)
Yep, I was excited yesterday
My sister called and said she had time to go with me to the mall... which I had been wanting to do forever with HER, but she’s always so busy. So we made a date for yesterday evening and left right after work and went through all of our fav stores. She did really good on her purchases - trying to save because its only 22 days until she leaves for Europe for spring break with her school
I wasn’t so good about my purchases, but I am very happy with them I got some fun post-valentines sales from the lingerie rack at Lerners, some cheap (3.99 and 4.99 - marked down from 26!) bras and undies from Pennys, everything I wanted to stock up on from Garden Botanika before they close the store (Onyx mascara, Silver Birch eyeshadow, and the skin care essentials that I was almost out of - toner, cleansing gel, and my favorite Angelica Mosturizing Cream, and then a few gifts - blue Gentian eyeshadow for Meg and pink shimmery Rose eyeshadow for Lisa); Then we went and tried on Doc Martens, and I found exactly what I wanted But they didn’t have a size 7, only an 8 and a 6... Dr. Martens <--I’m pretty sure its this one
I made the mistake of going into Eddie Bauer. I kept saying to Megan, "I don’t think I’m very much of an Eddie Bauer kinda girl," and she kept saying, "you don’t even realize how much you are." *g* So there was this shirt. This beautiful stretchy think silky with an almost lace trim shirt... and I tried it on, and it was like it was made for me. My new shirt So I had to buy it, even though it was a little more than I should have spent on a shirt (although I’ve always spent this much on Lerners shirts because I know they’ll last, and I’m sure this is the same way).
We went to dinner at TGIFridays' and they were super-slow, and I didn’t get home until after 9:30 so I was exhausted, but all in all, it was a fun day out, and I was really happy to go
