dr appt
I had my first doctors appointment in a long time where I left and she was happy with me (think 3-4 years).
You see, I’ll always be dealing with CFIDS and possibly Fibromyalgia. It still means (right now) I need 10-13 hours of sleep each night, and extra rest during the day, and some other special considerations. But I’ve been doing markedly better in the last 8-10 months. And even more so in the last 3-4 months.
I’m off several of the drugs, since not long after we moved. I’m sleeping full nights instead of little bits and pieces at a time. I’m working hard. And still, I’m able to leave the house and do things. Its a blessing, and I wouldn’t be in this place if it weren’t for God’s caring hands on me and a lot of support.
I’m not going back on any of my drugs, and I’ll still continue to do things at my own pace, never pushing too hard because that leads to the bad road. Its just amazing to be here now with so much ahead of me instead of the sad sore exhausted place I was in a year ago.
Oh, and my dr was happy because not only was I feeling better, but I lost some of the drug/cfids induced weight over the last 15 months since I saw her! woo! I’m back in pants I haven’t been able to wear in several years. And my skin is glowing thanks to some terrific new skin care routines. So I know I’m looking better because its shining out everywhere!
