day after tomorrow [movie]
OOoohhh, this looks like my kind of movie. For some reason, disaster movies tend to be what I’ll watch over and over.
Day After Tomorrow, The (2004)
"In INDEPENDENCE DAY, Roland Emmerich brought you the near destruction of the earth by aliens. Now, in THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, the enemy is an even more devastating force: nature itself. Tornadoes rip Los Angeles; a massive snow storm pounds New Delhi; hail the size of grapefruit batters Tokyo; and in New York City, the temperature swings from sweltering to freezing in one day. In this special-effects packed, highly anticipated event motion picture, and abrupt climate change has cataclysmic consequences for the entire planet"
The Official Site [flash] is pretty cool too. I’m gonna have to be watching for more news on it as it gets closer to the release date (May 28)

I’ve had my eye on this trailer too. Have you seen A.I.? That movie has a disaster part in it, reminded me of this movie. What’s insane to me is how frightening this would be if something like this happened. The site has some crazy images.

I thought the previews looked good, too. They must be hoping for big things, if they’re advertising it this early in NZ, as well.
