zempt 0.3
Wooo! Zempt 0.3 is out! Zempt is a desktop publishing client. If you use the regular "Post to MT Weblog" bookmarklet to post, there are some limitations of what you can do, and its even possible that you could loose your post if your server goes down as you are clicking post. Plus, if you are using a browser that doesn’t support the bold, italic, and underline buttons, you have to type it all out yourself. So this desktop client can sit in your systray, and be used to compose posts for your Movable Type powered blog.
The improvements between 0.02 and 0.03 are terrific - ctrl+A selects all, saving posts and retrieving them works better now, color coding of html as I type, spell check, integration of Bill’s winamp plugin for easy 1-click "what I’m listening to". It’s just terrific!

Just to clarify, when you say...

You’re talking about limitations with using the browser-based MT interface, not Zempt, right?

Sorry, Adam - yes, I meant the regular MT bookmarklet, I’ll edit my post to clarify that! When I wrote the post, I didn’t know there was a bookmarklet that worked with Zempt yet!!!

I forgot all about Zempt, I’ll have to go download it again and try it out. Thanks for mentioning it! A bookmarklet too...wow, this sounds awesome. (I always type out the bold/underline/italic...there are people who don’t?!)
