this or that
Its time for This or That!! 
- Do you prefer silence or do you like background sound (music, TV, etc)? I like background noise. I don’t know why or when that started, but if I don’t have the tv on in my office, I have music on. In bed reading, I don’t have music, but there’s no stereo in there, either.
- Bathe/shower in morning or evening? Morning if I am going anywhere. Otherwise, whenever I get around to it!
- Sleeping in complete darkness, or with a nightlight on? Mostly darkness - the street lights outside our complex cast a light on the wall. Sleeping during the day, I tend to put my covers over my head!
- Lay out clothes the night before, or just grab what’s closest in the morning? When you only have a few outfits, its usually just whatever is closest in the morning!
- Hang up/fold clothes neatly, or just toss them wherever? I’m bad about this lately, and tend to toss them; and then a couple times a week, I’ll put the laundry in its basket and hang up the clothes that are on the floor.
- Work out at a gym, or at home on your own (or do you not bother with exercise)? at home
- Talk on the phone, or via IM/e-mail? IM/email. Easier to gather my thoughts.
- Are you usually on time, or late? On time. My mother is always late, and growing up, I hated that and swore to be punctual when I had a chance to!
- Spendthrift or frugal? frugal. I’m pretty good about not spending more than I budget for. I do like to budget a little higher than I think I need to, and then those occassional trips to the mall don’t cut into the budget too much
- Thought-Provoking Question of the Week: You work with someone who is not in the habit of bathing regularly. The smell seems to be getting worse and worse! Would you: 1. try to do something about it, or 2. try to grin and bear it? If you said 1, what would you do? I’ve had to grin and bear it in the past - we had 1-4 Mexican guys working for us at any given time, and they cooked traditional Mexican food in their home, and didn’t bathe frequently, so they had quite the distinctive odor. I don’t know if I could ever be brave enough to actual say something to someone that I had to work with all the time. Maybe if there was an excuse like "your perfume is giving me a headache" - that might be valid enough to do something!
