Monday Mission
Just for fun, I wanted to do the Monday Mission for today....
:mondaymission:
- How old will you be on your next birthday?
Its coming right up! I’ll be 27 next month. I have felt so old for every birthday after 24. - What is your favorite gadget? I love my computer. I suppose its not as much of a gadget as some other things, but its got lots of gadgets around it; my tablet, mouse, logitech keyboard, etc.
- Tell me about someone that you lost touch with several years ago. Would you like to get back in touch with them again? What caused the separation? Has enough time passed? Would you still get along?
The people that I’ve lost touch with are mostly people that really weren’t good for me, who didn’t care very much for my self esteem. There’s one or two that I would like to try again with. - Is there a difference between your online personality and your real-life version? Or are you pretty much the same person either way? I’m fairly the same. I don’t know, ask rina-doll I’m probably a bit less outgoing in person and maybe a bit more shy.
- Can you think of any ways that the Internet hinders person-to-person communication? What could we do to change things?
It would be nice if emotions could be shown better on the screen. It makes it hard to know what a person is really thinking sometimes, and you think you can hear a harshness when really, its just a speedy reply. - When was the last time you felt truly happy, or had that sense of perfect inner-peace? What does it take to get that feeling back when you need it?
That’s kinda a hard question. I feel truly happy with E. But the complete happiness, with perfect health, a relationship with God that I have lost, family members all well and happy, etc., etc.—that’s a bit more elusive. - If you could just verbally let loose on someone and be able to say anything you want, without repercussions, who would you say it to and what would you say?
My sister Lisa... "GROW UP!"

For some reason, I’d never realized that I was just a few months older than you (turned 27 Jan. 27). I guess I hadn’t really thought about it. I’ve felt old on each one after 25, which cracks Matt up because he’ll be 31 this month.
