A few years back, I took an Enneagram Test (May 29, 2001), and came up with being a #5 or #6. So when I saw a similar test at @christine’s place today, I took it again (being the compulsive test taker that I am ;) ), and this time I’m a #1, followed by a 5 or 6. This fits better
The principled, idealistic type. Ones are conscientious and ethical, with a strong sense of right and wrong. They are teachers, crusaders, and advocates for change: always striving to improve things, but afraid of making a mistake. Well-organized, orderly, and fastidious, they try to maintain high standards, but can slip into being critical and perfectionistic. They typically have problems with resentment and impatience. At their Best: wise, discerning, realistic, and noble. Can be morally heroic.
Extended info:
Type One: The Reformer. Fits pretty well with my
ISTJ type assessment

This was so interesting! I’m an achiever 3, and also a loyalist 6 - I spent 20 minutes poking around the site reading - thanks for the link!

my mom studies the enneagram super hard core. there is a community of people who are really into it.
the best book i have read on the subject is by riso and hudson, called Enneagram in love and work. it is pretty interesting stuff.

I’ve taken that one several times as well and have always gotten the same thing—7 (the enthusiast). According to what’s written, it seems to go hand in hand with my personality type (enfp). Just as Jane and her mom talk about things in numbers, I tend to talk about things in terms of personality type. lol
