This or That 082002
Between applicants and phone calls, I’m gonna do This or That! - its a toy theme today, and I love toys!
- CandyLand or Chutes and Ladders? CandyLand was a favorite of ours when Leonard and me were little. I loved all the pictures on the board.
- Barbie or GI Joe? Barbies all the way! I loved the ones I had. I had a lot of Strawberry Shortcakes who played with my one or two cherished Barbies.
- Play-Doh or Silly Putty? Silly Putty I have great fun with it, and used to keep it in my pockets of my church jacket so that I had something to do during college services!
- Lincoln Logs or Tinkertoys? Both were fun. I think the Lincoln Logs were more played with just because I liked making house for the Strawberry Shortcakes ;)
- The Game of Life or Monopoly? Oh, that’s a toughie. Monopoly, I guess. I love buying up the cheap properties and putting hotels on them
- Etch-a-Sketch or Lite-Brite? I had an Etch-a-Sketch not a Lite-Brite, so definitely the first. I liked trying to write my name. You try writing a K with an etch-a-sketch!!!
- The Slinky: metal or plastic? Metal always worked better. Megan had a plastic one that was pink on one side and orange on the other. It was pretty.
- Easy-Bake Oven or Sno-Cone Machine? I always wanted an Easy-Bake Oven. It looked like so much fun. My mom let me cook in the real oven, though ;) But to satisfy my need for an Easy-Bake, I bought one for Lisa when she was little for Christmas
- Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars? Matchbox
- Spirograph or Paint-by-Numbers? Oh, I had great fun with my spirograph! We had two different sets that we played with, and I was always in awe of the fun things we could make. (on the Paint-by-Numbers idea, I did play with those little stained glass things that you put little glass dots in and put in the oven. That was fun too!)
