We got there early, because Mom said to be there at 6:30. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t seat us until at least 5 people were there, so we ended up not getting seated til 7:15. It was all okay, though.

Leonard’s Sarah is really nice (now that I type that, I don’t know if its Sarah with an H or Sara without. I think H. But I don’t know why I think that!) I’m so excited to finally meet her - they’ve been officially together since April. And very serious. She really seems to make him happy - all smiles and laughing. She’s pretty, too - longish brown straight hair - striking features, tall (taller than him - but he’s only like 5'6" or 5'7") and skinny.

Lisa seemed to have fun. We made them sing to her, and I think she enjoyed the attention. The food was good, as usual, even though the service wasn’t as good as it is when there’s just two of us - our waitress had too many tables. And she wasn’t a normal waitress that we see there, so I’m think she might have been new. Poor thing, get a table with 9 of us?!

Everybody thought that my present was pretty - I took a b/w picture of her from last year (I think her bday, but not sure - it was a close up one that turned out good) and made a swirly artistic background on it. I wasn’t sure if it was cool or just dorky, but Meg and Lisa both said they thought that was neato. I have a picture of it that I took while I was making it that I’ll post later.

We stayed out a bit late, but it was okay - It definitely was a fun event, and I’m looking forward to the next one. (Leonard’s bday is the 12th, Meg’s is Sept 9th, and Matthew and dad are October - so Lisa’s is just the start of the parties!)
