relaxing sunday
Its been a good relaxing day. I got up and got stuff done for quite a while before E woke up, and then we had breakfast and I took a long nap. Yay for naps.
And then we watched Black Hawk Down. It was good, I guess, but I guess I wasn’t in the mood for a war movie. I got kinda confused about who was who while we were watching. There were so many main people to pay attention to. Josh Hartnett IS a hottie, though And I really didn’t know Ewan McGreggor was on that movie!
Then shower time, and out to eat. We went down to Old Spaghetti Factory in Clackamas, and had a delightful drive and dinner. We sat and talked about projects we were both working on, my business license stuff, what to tell my dad; we discussed resigning the lease for our apartment for another year. And the food was delicious, too. We had terrific service, and the restaurant was mostly quiet because it was the middle of the afternoon.
These are the kinda days you want to capture and hold onto.
And now we are home. E’s listening to music and playing with his databases. I’ve been over on the MT forums for a while, but Girlie’s got things pretty well under control :giggle: She’s been a posting freak all weekend, and I can barely keep up. LOL!
Now I have a few projects I’m working on. But maybe I’ll play for a while first Yay for sundays!

I wasn’t crazy about "Black Hawk Down", either. But I don’t think it had anything to do with it being a war movie. I think it was due to the fact that from the beginning to end, it was all bang, bang shoot 'em up kind of action. There really was no plot or storyline whatsoever. You mentioned you found it hard to keep up with the characters and such and I do believe that this was the exact reason. It drove me nuts, personally, and I was thoroughly disappointed that I wasted my time on it. Oh well. Win some, lose some.
