Lilith: Geek Music to Girls' Ears
That was Susannah Camic’s experience. It bothered her enough that she wrote a 10th-grade essay about it. Her paper sparked the beginning of the Lilith Computer Group, a club designed to get girls more involved in computing in middle school.
What a neato concept! I plan to make sure ALL of my kids (and nieces and nephews) feel like they are all equally able to do computer tasks. Of course, it may be more important in their lifetime anyhow, but still. Computers are not just for boys
