mardi gras history
I don’t know when Mardi Gras is this year, but I remember that last year, I was wearing beads the day of the earthquake (March 5 or 6 or something; my archives are screwed up from then)

The date of Mardi Gras varies from year to year, always falling between February 3 and March 9. Although Mardi Gras refers to a specific day, the term often encompasses a much longer period of celebrations leading up to Mardi Gras Day

ha ha! No wonder my opening page told me about it! I’m so silly! I went and changed into a white shirt so my beads from last year would match :giggle: Thank, love, you told me just in time!!!!
