Yay! it’s heather’s Friday Five!!! I get excited about this every week now!!

1. What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? engagement ring, Jan 1, 2000

2. What’s the worst? Anything from my Aunt Brooke. One year, I got a sign language alphabet placemat. It had been 3 years since I did sign classes. One year, I got a pile of 250 pieces of note paper (sheets of copy paper cut in half) that she had typed on the top "From the desk of Kristine..." or something dorky like that. Its such a joke now that we know that when we open up her presents, we should be prepared to laugh because they’ll be stupid!!!

3. What do you want for Christmas this year? If I was rich, I’d want a digicam. Realistically, a CD-RW drive, a CD stomper, and CD-RWs/labels/inserts would be cool. Even more realistically, I’d like a sewing machine. Or a some new craft supplies for my closet (a gift certificate would be GREAT!).

If I had my choice of presents, it would be to be able to be there when my family opens presents. I will miss out so much by being in CA, and I’d much rather be able to reschedule present opening with my family to fit my schedule if at all possible. I don’t need presents, just that would be cool. (Its our year to go to CA to be w/E’s parents)

4. As far as Holiday shopping goes, do you buy throughout the year or do it last-minute? I try to do it throughout the end of the year. Like starting in October, making lists. November finalize list. Order as much online as I can, and then by December, do mad dashes at stores for the stuff I couldn’t find online.

5. How do you plan to spend your weekend? I have no plans yet. Yay! I like the no plans thing. I’d like to eat out at least once - maybe Red Robin, I’m having a craving for that. Maybe go to Target and exchange my jeans for some larger ones, and look for overalls or skirts to wear to work this fall. I wouldn’t mind going to the mall, but we’ll see Besides that, much playing on my computer, work on some half-done designs for linkware. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?!
