The first dinner in my new home
I have to say, my first hosting attempt went VERY well

The menu:
Homemade Lasagna
A big salad
Garlic Bread
Cranberry Juice with fizz
Homemade Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Buttercream frosting
I cooked off and on all day Saturday, and had been cleaning for weeks.... and buying furniture so we’d be all furnished and beautiful. And we got raves all around! They said I’d never be able to feign not knowing how to cook again. And they said I’m amazing for getting so much decorated so soon after moving in. And they even were talking about it the next day.
Yea me!!!
Thank you all for your thoughts and notes in the days leading up to the event, because I was sure stressed. I feel like a giant weight has been lifted off of me... and my house is clean to boot!!!
