Who/Where are the Women?
Who/Where are the Women?—"Spawned by recent conversations with friends, I’ve been thinking about people who are known for designing and working with web standards. Specifically those who have a strong interest in CSS or are already using style sheets to compliment or construct beautiful design. In these conversations, we’ve noted that this space seems heavily dominated by men." I added to the comments a few of my favorite women who use CSS for wonderfulness.

It’s true - I can think of many great CSS women designers (YOU!), but when it comes to naming the people that set the actual standards, every name that comes to mind is a male. Eric Meyers, Tantek Celik (CSS makes my eyes bleed!), Jeffrey Zeldman and others. Interesting...
