I am really impressed by an ad that came in my mailbox yesterday.  Kitchen Kaboodle is a local kitchen store.  We've been having snow and icy conditions this week.  So their promo? "Snow Bound in Portland? We can help!"  They offered free shipping so people wouldn't have to go out in the snow, and if you bought $500 or more, they'd bring the order to your house!!!

I think that was a creative ad idea in light of the conditions :)
