The Blessing

The Blessing

by Jude Deveraux
Pocket Star
1999
« Secondhand Lions | Main | Forever »

"A hard-driving businessman sees love with new eyes when a sweet young widow and her son change his life -- and his heart--forever."

As a general rule, I like the historical books that Jude Deveraux writes. But this present day one was delightful, and really changed my mind. Watching Amy change from a disheveled mother in a little house to a beautiful talented artist is so nice. And Jason's change is very pleasing too. I'd love to see a sequel to this, I think there's real storyline potential.
