Set in a frontier world of bonnets and one-room schoolhouses, Love's Enduring Promise follows a headstrong young teacher named Missie , the daughter of Clark and Marty Davis from previous prairie romance Love Comes Softly. After Clark injures himself in a woodcutting accident, the family farm is in danger of failing--until a handsome young stranger helps out.
This movie follows the storyline even less than the first, but still is a joy to watch. I always loved Missie's story from the books, but this is more of an interesting storyline that she gets with Grant and Nate/Willie LaHaye.
