Before seeing the first of the series, I wanted to re-watch the Miniseries. I'm glad I did, because I really enjoyed the miniseries.

Where Sci-Fi channel's version of the story begins, but really, a continuation of sorts from the original Battlestar Galactica series(es). These are rich in history because of the earliers, with subtle and not-so-subtle references.

With the miniseries, we see Comander Adama and hear about his two sons, one of which died but was in love with (or married to?) Kara Thrace "Starbuck", and the other is Lee Adama "Apollo". We meet a lot of other shipmates as well. On the planet, we meet Number 6 and Gaius Baltar, as well as Laura Roslin, who is far down the line for presidency.

Rewatching, I'm really excited where this might go next.
