The third installment of the Ratchet & Clank franchise incorporates new elements of gameplay not seen previously in the series, including online and offline multiplayer capabilities that will appeal to a wide variety of players. Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal returns gamers to Planet Veldin, the setting of the original Ratchet & Clank, where the duo set off on a gripping new adventure through a multitude of diverse planets to fight for galactic peace
The third in the trilogy! I was very excited for this to come out, because last year, I received the second one for Christmas and loved it! Then I bought the first, and it was great too. These are the games to play over and over.
The plot so far as been fun, with Ratchet out being Clank's sidekick in his movies.
I'm not sure I like the organization of the screens this time around - with it being mission based. and its missing a few like-challenges of the fun flying and racing areas that were in Going Commando. The hovercraft isn't quite as fun.
But I do like the storyline, and the Qwark mini-games make me giggle. The Starship Phoenix as a base was a really nice idea, too.
And I'm not done with it yet, so we'll see how the rest goes :)
