Disaster movies are my favorite, and so I kept seeing commercials for this one all over the place. I vaguely remember a few pieces of it, so I would guess I saw some of it when it was on broadcast TV originally.
I was surprised that it was 4 hours, but it was good. Makes me love Rob Lowe. :)
And there were a surprising number of Stargate actors on it, too, which was kinda fun to watch for.
