When this first came out, I was looking forward to seeing it. People kinda discouraged me from watching it, so I didn't see it until it was on FX tonight. My dad watched the originals with us when we were young, and that made me more interested in this "re-imagining" of the story. And it doesn't hurt that I really like Mark Wahlberg. :)

The storyline was actually pretty interesting. I was enjoying the action of this movie, but the ending really turned my opinion over. I know that the originals had strange endings, too, but this was just bizarro. It really didn't make a lot of sense, and seemed very disjointed.
