Independence Day

Independence Day (Single Disc Widescreen Edition)

20th Century Fox
2003
« power archiver | Main | The Beast »

This is a perfect movie to watch on the 4th of July. One year, my sister and I actually watched it divided up between the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th like the sections of the movie are.

Bill Pullman's inspiration speach, and then the music as they are doing the morse code always get me. Will Smith has some excellent lines. There are so many great supporting characters. But I still won't watch when they are cutting into the Alien and he attacks Data (Brent Spiner, the weirdo doctor guy). That freaks me out every time.
