Anna Lee past away at age 91: Anna Lee (Lila Quartermaine), an actress whose acting career spanned 70 years, died Friday, May 14th. Lee had been ailing for the past several months and died at her home near Beverly Hills with son Jeffrey Byron, 48, by her side. She was 91.

Paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident just a year after she began playing Lila Quartermaine on General Hospital, Lee acted in a wheelchair for more than two decades until she left the soap last year.

Sarah Brown to Join ATWT Cast: Three-time Emmy Award winner Sarah Brown will join the cast of As the World Turns this summer in a new created role. Brown is best known for her work as Carly Benson Corinthos on the ABC soap General Hospital. She joined the show in April 1996 before exiting the role five years later. Her work as Carly won her three Daytime Emmy Awards: two Outstanding Younger Actress trophies n 1997 and 1998 and one Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2000.
