{"id":35,"date":"2010-02-25T14:32:16","date_gmt":"2010-02-25T14:32:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kadyellebee.com\/wp\/2010\/02\/25\/podcast_fun\/"},"modified":"2010-02-25T14:32:16","modified_gmt":"2010-02-25T14:32:16","slug":"podcast_fun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kadyellebee.com\/kdlb\/2010\/02\/podcast_fun\/","title":{"rendered":"podcast fun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the last few months, I&#8217;ve been adding a few new podcasts to listen to.&nbsp; I&#8217;ve been wanting to make a list to share of the ones I enjoy.&nbsp; I&#8217;m currently tracking my podcasts on the <a href=\"http:\/\/kadyellebee.com\/kdlb\/knitcasts\/\">blog<\/a> on the craft column at <a href=\"http:\/\/kadyellebee.com\/\">kadyellebee<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Knit Picks<\/b>: the first podcast I listened to and it&#8217;s consistently good with a nice mix of Knit Picks info, interviews, techniques, and lately we&#8217;ve heard more from other employees. <a href=\"http:\/\/community.knitpicks.com\/profile\/KnitPicksPodcast\">podcast site<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/knit-picks-podcast\/id253212700\">iTunes link<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/KnitPicks\">@KnitPicks<\/a><\/li>\n<li><b>Stash and Burn<\/b>: found this before I started knitting because I worked with the husband of one of the hosts.&nbsp; This is a great multiple-person podcast.&nbsp; I have been introduced to a lot of new yarns and patterns here, in a pre-ravelry world!&nbsp; They also have a love of similar TV to me, and so that adds a nice touch. &nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stashandburn.com\/\">podcast site<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/stash-and-burn\/id214551727\">iTunes link<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/stashandburn\">@stashandburn<\/a><\/li>\n<li><b>Ready Set Knit<\/b>: this is the podcast for the husband-wife owners of Webs, and it&#8217;s an actual radio segment in their area.&nbsp; It&#8217;s nice and short and a nice little burst to keep me up on what is new in the yarn world.&nbsp; The interviews are usually quite interesting without dragging because Kathy keeps them moving.&nbsp; I&#8217;m not always as into Pixie&#8217;s segment, but I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s helpful to some.&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yarn.com\/Podcasts\">podcast site<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/ready-set-knit\/id206527655\">iTunes link<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/websyarnstore\">@websyarnstore<\/a><\/li>\n<li><b>The Knitmore Girls<\/b>: found this mother-daughter team at Sock Summit, and they are delightful.&nbsp; They have a very nicely structured podcast, and they are passionate about their knitting and spinning.&nbsp; They are in Southern CA and it&#8217;s fun to hear the great places they go visit.&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/knitmoregirls.blogspot.com\/\">podcast site<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/knitmoregirlss-podcast\/id278579370\">iTunes link<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/knitmoregirls\">@knitmoregirls<\/a><\/li>\n<li><b>Brass Needles<\/b>: Miss Kalendar is not just a knitter, she&#8217;s a scifi buff.&nbsp; She&#8217;s my first real introduction to steampunk and she does faires all dressed up.
